Cookie Notice

Effective:

Last updated:

Version:

This notice explains the cookies and similar technologies StrategyHub™ uses. We use only technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, third-party analytics SDKs, or session-replay tools, so there is no consent banner to click through.

1.What we use, and why

  • Authentication. When you sign in, your session is stored in your browser (cookies and local storage) so that you stay signed in and so the server can verify your requests. Without this you cannot use the application.
  • Security. Short-lived tokens support multi-factor and step-up verification, invitation links, and protection against request forgery.
  • Preferences. Local storage keeps small interface choices — the workspace you last used, sidebar and navigation state, and whether you have already seen a one-time notice such as the AI disclosure — so we do not ask you the same thing twice.
  • Hosting and delivery. Our hosting and content delivery layer may set cookies needed to route requests and protect the service against abuse.

These technologies are exempt from consent requirements under EU and UK cookie rules because they are strictly necessary to provide a service you have requested.

2.Product usage measurement

We record a small number of first-party product events — for example that a plan was imported or a workspace was created — in our own database, on our own infrastructure, to understand whether features work. This data is not sold, not shared with advertising networks, and not sent to a third-party analytics provider. It is not used to build a cross-site profile of you.

3.What we do not use

  • No advertising or retargeting pixels.
  • No third-party analytics SDKs.
  • No session-replay or heatmap recording.
  • No cross-site tracking, data brokers, or sale of personal data.
  • No social media tracking widgets.

4.Payments and embedded content

Checkout is handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. When you open checkout, Paddle may set cookies necessary to process the payment and prevent fraud, under its own notice. Where a page embeds third-party content — for example a video player — that provider may set its own cookies when you play it. Our Subprocessors page lists the services involved in operating the platform.

5.Your choices

Because we use only strictly necessary technologies, there is nothing non-essential for you to reject. If we ever introduce a non-essential tracker, we will block it until you consent where consent is legally required, and we will publish a preferences control here and in the site footer before it runs.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent the application from working.

6.More information
