StrategyHub vs monday.com: Which fits your consulting practice?
StrategyHub™ is a strong fit for consulting firms delivering ongoing client strategy execution and governance. It provides separate client workspaces and a structure connecting goals, initiatives, actions, milestones and KPIs. monday work management is worth considering when the engagement centres on configurable project workflows.
The right choice depends on your service: are you providing ongoing strategic oversight, managing operational projects, or combining both?

Feature comparison
Both products can hold a plan and report on it. The difference is what is supplied versus what you configure, so the rows below describe the approach instead of scoring ticks and crosses.
| Capability | StrategyHub™ | monday work management |
|---|---|---|
| Strategic goals, initiatives, actions, milestones and KPIs | Purpose-built objects: goals hold initiatives, initiatives hold nested actions, and KPIs carry baseline, current and target values with owners, units and history. Milestones and wins attach to a goal. | Built from configurable boards, items and subitems, plus timeline, Gantt and calendar views (Standard and above). A strategy structure is something you configure rather than a supplied model; numeric goal tracking is done with columns and dashboards. |
| Client workspaces and access controls | One isolated workspace per client, included on every plan (3 on Solo Consultant, 15 on Practice, unlimited on Enterprise). Roles — Admin, Goal Owner, Initiative Owner, Viewer — plus per-goal permissions, so a department lead sees only their own scope. | Multiple workspaces and board-level permissions; private boards and docs from Pro; multi-level permissions on Enterprise. Guest access (external users limited to boards you invite them to) is available from Standard. |
| Client branding, portals and custom domain | Workspace branding — the firm's logo and colours inside client workspaces — from the Practice plan. A custom domain for client dashboards and a custom email sender are Enterprise features. Solo Consultant carries StrategyHub™ branding. | monday.com's pricing page does not list workspace white labelling, a custom domain or a custom email sender as plan features. Treat any branding requirement as something to confirm with monday.com directly rather than assume in either direction. |
| Reporting and preparation for leadership reviews | AI executive summaries and briefing books generated from live plan data and editable before sending; a goal-by-goal printable plan and PDF/PowerPoint export; snapshots; a meeting mode for live reviews. | Dashboards and advanced board views (charts and graphs from Pro) report on board data in-product. Assembling a narrative board or council packet is a manual or exported step. |
| Automations and data integrations | Scheduled KPI sync from CSV, Google Sheets, BigQuery and Snowflake; documented REST API; outbound webhooks; automated due-date and KPI reminders; two-way task sync with Jira, Asana and monday.com. | Automations and integrations metered by action: 250 actions/month on Standard, 25,000 on Pro, up to 250,000 on Enterprise. API calls are capped per day (1,000 Standard, 10,000 Pro, 25,000 Enterprise) and can be topped up. A large third-party integration catalogue. |
| Read-only stakeholder participation | Public, branded, read-only dashboards need no account at all, and occasional KPI contributors can submit a value through a tokenized email link without a seat. Viewers inside a workspace do not change the price. | Unlimited free viewers with read-only access are included from the Basic plan upward, so read-only stakeholders do not require paid seats. Anyone who needs to edit does require a seat. |
| Pricing model | Per practice, published: a flat plan price with a client-workspace limit. Seats, client staff, board members and viewers do not change the bill; no seat minimum. | Per seat, published, with the total driven by how many editing seats you buy (the pricing page defaults its example to 10 seats). Free plan up to 2 seats. AI credits are bundled per plan and can be purchased beyond the included allowance; Enterprise is quoted. |
StrategyHub rows reflect our own product and plan configuration; monday rows reflect monday.com's published pricing and plans page. Branding is deliberately split: a workspace logo and colour scheme is not the same thing as a fully branded portal on your own domain with your own email sender.
Pricing comparison
Two different units: StrategyHub charges per practice with a client-workspace limit, monday charges per editing seat. Adjacent plans are not feature-equivalent, so read the limits column before lining prices up against each other.

- monday's per-seat rates above are annual-billing rates expressed as a monthly equivalent, as its pricing page labels them. They are not month-to-month subscription prices; month-to-month costs more, and the current rate should be read from monday.com's own selector.
- monday bundles AI credits per plan (with a promotional monthly discount showing when we checked) and sells additional credits and API capacity separately. Those charges are not in the seat rate.
- StrategyHub prices are USD and cover the whole practice. Every plan includes a 14-day trial with no card and a 14-day refund window.
Compare your actual billable users, required capabilities, client workspaces and implementation effort. Free viewers should not be counted as paid seats in a savings calculation.
