Frequently asked questions
Everything buyers and client teams ask us most — pricing, tenant isolation, hosting, SSO, KPI data sync and AI reporting. Answers first, no quote wall.
Product basics
- What is StrategyHub™?
- StrategyHub™ is strategy execution software for consultants, advisory firms and the organizations they serve. Goals, initiatives, actions, KPIs, budgets, risks and reporting live in one multi-tenant workspace, so the plan reflects reality between board meetings instead of aging inside a PDF.
- Who is StrategyHub™ for?
- It is built for independent consultants, advisory and accounting firms, and the mid-sized organizations they advise. Consultants run several client workspaces from one login; client teams log in to update their own initiatives and KPIs.
- How is StrategyHub™ different from a spreadsheet or a slide deck?
- A spreadsheet or deck is a snapshot that is stale the day after the workshop. In StrategyHub™ owners update initiatives and log KPI figures directly, red/amber/green status is calculated from targets and pace, and the executive summary is generated from the current data rather than retyped each quarter.
- What does the strategy hierarchy look like?
- Goals sit at the top. Each goal carries KPIs with targets and thresholds, plus initiatives. Initiatives carry nested actions, owners, due dates, targets, percent-complete and monthly progress figures. Milestones, risks and budget lines attach to the same goals.
- Can I move an action under a different initiative?
- Yes. Open the action and pick a new parent initiative from the dropdown, which is grouped by parent goal so you can see where each initiative belongs before you move it.
Pricing and trials
- How much does StrategyHub™ cost?
- Solo Consultant is $495/month or $4,950/year and covers up to 3 client workspaces. Practice is $795/month or $7,950/year and covers up to 15 client workspaces. Enterprise is custom-priced with unlimited workspaces. Annual billing saves 17%.
- Is there a free trial?
- Yes — every plan starts with a 14-day trial. A card is required to start the trial, and there is a 14-day refund window with no exceptions or conditions.
- Is pricing per user or per workspace?
- Per workspace, not per seat. Plans are limited by how many client workspaces you run, and there is no usage metering on goals, initiatives, actions or KPIs. Invite as many members into a workspace as the engagement needs.
- What happens if my subscription lapses?
- Workspaces become read-only and nothing is deleted for 60 days, so you can export or resubscribe without losing a plan.
- Which plan unlocks white labeling?
- Workspace branding — your logo and colors on client dashboards — is included on Practice. A custom domain and custom email sender are Enterprise features.
Security, hosting and access
- Where is StrategyHub™ data hosted?
- In the United States (us-west-2). US-only data residency arrangements are available for enterprise buyers with hosting requirements.
- Can one client see another client's data?
- No. Every workspace is isolated with database row-level security, so a member's queries can only ever return rows from workspaces they belong to. Consultants with access to several workspaces switch between them explicitly.
- Does StrategyHub™ support single sign-on?
- Yes. SAML SSO, including Microsoft Entra ID and Okta, is available on the Enterprise plan. Google sign-in and email sign-in are available on every plan, and multi-factor verification is supported.
- Is client data used to train AI models?
- No. Client content sent to the AI reporting features is not used to train third-party models, and a DPA is available on request.
Data, KPIs and reporting
- Can KPIs update automatically from our systems?
- Yes. CSV and Google Sheets sync are available on every plan; BigQuery and Snowflake connectors are included from Practice upward. A SQL sync agent covers Postgres, MySQL and SQL Server for teams that keep databases behind a firewall.
- How does StrategyHub™ decide whether a KPI is on track?
- Each KPI has a target, a current value and thresholds. For time-based yearly targets the status is compared against pace — the share of the year elapsed — so a metric that is behind schedule shows amber or red before the deadline instead of after it.
- Can clients see a dashboard without logging in?
- Yes. Public transparency pages and embeddable KPI tiles let you share a read-only view of selected goals and metrics with boards or the public, without giving out workspace access.
- Does StrategyHub™ write the executive summary?
- It drafts one from the workspace's current goals, KPI values, initiative progress and risks. You review and edit before sharing — the AI summarizes your data rather than inventing narrative.
